Rescues We currently have no rescues available for adoption. **Adopted 12-23-07 - New home - Pennsylvania** Derby - English Setter Female - Tri-color D.O.B.: May 2002 Derby is in excellent health. She is house broke, crate trained, and basic obedience trained. Lived in house w/ former owner and is being fostered in our home currently. She is well socialized and gets along fine with our others dog. She came from a family that has kids and does very well with them. She is very social towards other people and loves to be with her people. We have worked Derby in the field and she shows good promise as a hunting dog. She is smooth gated and has good stamina. She looks to have a good nose and is stylish on point. She obeys basic commands in the field and I have conditioned her to the ecollar. Derby is fully vetted and up to date on all shots. Adoption fee $250 to help defer the vet costs of getting her up to date on shots and spayed. We are working on crate training her and she is taking to it well. This dog is well socialized and is doing well interacting with our dogs. She comes from a family that has kids and does well with them. She is intact and in good health. She will be spayed before she goes to her new home. She has had limited exposure to birds but has done well in pointing them. Adoption fee $200 to help defer the vet costs of getting her up to date on shots and spayed. References required in order to adopt this dog. We are currently fostering this dog in our home
